Workshop Technician
One of the UK's largest vocational training providers are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join their dynamic and expanding team.
Working for 2 - 2.5 half days per week, (hours / days are negotiable) the successful candidate will be working alongside Trainers and Assessors to assist with the maintenance, preparation and provision of equipment and materials within a workshop environment.
The Role:
* Preparing resources and equipment for the workshop lessons
* Supporting trainers / assessors in the delivery of the workshops
* Instructing pupils in the correct usage of various materials and tools
* Ensure equipment is packed away safely at the end of each class
The candidate:
* Will ideally come from a building services background
* Have good manual dexterity
* A Building Services Qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential
* Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of using workshop equipment
* Able to communicate effectively and accurately
