Warehouse / Operations Supervisor
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse / Operation Supervisor to join an Ice Cream and Frozen Foods wholesaler based in Meldreth.
Your main role will be to supervise the Goods-Out function, including all daily planning and necessary liaison with the Operations Manager and Goods-Out Supervisor.
The Role:
* Ensure orders are picked correctly
* Assist in checking and loading vehicles
* Ensure staffing levels are maintained to complete daily work load
* Ensure all returned orders are dealt with in the correct manner
* Ensure staff comply with company policies and procedures
* Oversee and manage all Picking staff
* Assist with fork lift driving when required
The Candidate:
* Flexible, dynamic with excellent communication skills
* Ability to solve problems and mange workload effectively
* Flexible approach to hours worked due to seasonal demand (winter months 9.00 - 5.00; summer months will include earlier and/or later finishes)
* An input into the design and maintenance systems used
* Able to have full involvement in the planning of workload and procedures.
