Telesales Executive

Your Assignment

You're the front, the sharp-edge, the one the rest of your sales team depend on:

  • Following up on inquiries
  • Qualifying leads
  • Working with colleagues to ensure closure
  • Prospecting and developing a prospect pipeline
  • Creating a superior customer/prospect experience to encourage future sales

Your Responsibilities

  • To prospect and develop leads
  • To perform outbound cold calling to generate leads and appointments
  • To build a sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding lead generation quotas
  • To create and maintain a database of current and future customers.
  • To provide follow up on demand generation activities
  • To establish an account presence and build trust with key contacts
  • To analyse customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying opportunities and scoping potential opportunities
  • To present and articulate the companies services, benefits
  • To integrate with senior and field sales reps to maximise prospect potential
  • To close business to meet or exceed sales quota
  • To forecast business and activity
  • To update sales stage and prospect interaction in CRM system
  • To complete deal disposition information

You Experience

  • Ideally a BA or BSc degree
  • 1-2 years experience in sales and sales development in a high-tech environment, preferably in software services.
  • A track record as an energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent written skills, oral skills, phone skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, MS Office Suite)
  • Strong telephone skills and handling
  • Prior objection handling experience would be helpful
  • Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience
  • Ability to learn and understand service solutions and features
  • Strong needs analysis, positioning and qualification skills
