As part of our on-going expansion programme, we now seek results driven sales individuals to generate new business opportunities whilst managing and developing existing business.
THE ROLE
- Working as part of a team in order to sell and promote software licencing solutions to the education sector
- To generate, sustain and maximize both new and existing business opportunities
To source own leads (via database / internet / directories) - Conduct both specific and general-awareness campaigns to promote software solutions and information solutions within target markets
- To manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
- To work closely with other members of the team to promote and provide a complete range of products and services

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A good understanding of key vendor licensing models from high demand software vendors including but not limited to;
- Desktop productivity tools including, Microsoft (select, campus agreements, desktop & server based products), Macromedia, Corel, Quark and Adobe
- Antivirus – Sophos, McAfee and Computer Associates
- Security – Checkpoint, Websense, Mail/Web Marshall and Ranger
Schools Curriculum content - Minimum of 12 months' recent outbound telesales and/or account management experience however consideration will be given to applicants from a consumer background who can demonstrate a proven track record within a targeted sales role
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturer, distribution or channel business
- Experience of the education or public sector market is desirable but not essential
Experience of working with channel partners (manufacturers) to secure and maximise opportunities desirable but not essential - Direct cold-calling experience
- Appointment-making experience (ideal)
IN RETURN, YOU GET
- A highly competitive basic salary of £18-25k, dependent on experience, along with excellent OTE of £40-60K

- Hours of work 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- 20 days' annual leave entitlement per year including bank holidays
