You
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Are adept at rapid applications development or extreme
- Have effective organizational and time management skills.

- Can document development including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications.
- Are self-motivated and a quick learner.
- Have the ability to manage a project through all its stages.
Your Assignment
To develop enterprise standard Web-based middleware and back-office applications
- Your Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing applications that facilitate the company's front office and back office services.
- Using legacy systems to re-implement the organisation’s standard technologies.
- Exercising your proficiency with SQL on databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Working against project goals and milestones.
- Providing weekly development progress feedback.
- Recognising potential problems and recommending solutions.
- Interfacing with clients to ensure timely delivery.
Your Key Experience/Capabilities
To make this post yours, you:
- Ideally are certified in Certification in Java / J2EE
- Are fully conversant with Java/J2EE, JSP/Servlet, SOAP, XML/XSLT, Hibernate.
- Know your way round HTML, DHML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax like the back of your hand.
- Have a basic understanding of UNIX (Linux) shell commands.
- Use SQL, LDAP regularly
- Have a good understanding of Eclipse IDE.
- Are totally familiar with CVS / Subversion
- Know Apache Struts, Apache Beehive (Java Pageflows), Javaserver faces, Spring framework development and EJB3.
- Also know PHP, UNIX (Linux) basic admin skills and have good understanding of BEA Workshop (based on Eclipse IDE)
You should also have: - Experience with J2EE development on Weblogic and JBoss.
- Experience with SQL compliant database, for example Oracle and MySQL.
- Good understanding of web technologies
- 1 – 2 years technical work experience in a team environment as a programmer.
