Project Scheduler/Planner

Primary Purpose of the Role:Role Overview: This is a Planning role to take responsibility for liaising with internal project managers and planners to help create and maintain the elements of the consolidated E2E Programme Plan and associated Reporting, both of which are shared with customer management at local and national level. This person will be looked to by planners, PMs and senior management to provide the support necessary to achieve Programme planning and reporting objectives. Will need to be proactive in ensuring that standards are used and reporting schedules are adhered to.

Key Tasks:Support the creation and maintenance of components of the E2E Programme Plan in P3e, incorporating plans for Design, Development, Infrastructure, Service, Testing, Training and all Deployments. Generate "What If" scenarios to check impact of schedule changes across the Programme. Create relationships with planners, Project Managers and Programme Managers in each workstream. Develop / maintain overall Product Breakdown Structure. Promote / update planning standards and guidelines. Create and maintain internal and external project and Programme reports fortnightly. Highlight problem areas during schedule updates to the Project / Programme Managers.

Technical & Professional skills:Mandatory: In-depth working knowledge of MS Project & P3e Planning experience in a Project Office on large accounts Able to foresee potential problems and avoid them by pre-planning In depth knowledge of development / implementation lifecycles In depth MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal skills In depth experience of management report creation

Additional Information:Multiple Plan linkage, PBS/WBS creation, report creation from MS Project. Able to demonstrate skills in negotiating with people at different levels. Strong ability to prioritise work and manage multiple concurrent activities
