Media Business Development Manager

Since this is wider than an individual sales target role, you will not be aiming at personal sales targets.
Working within the team and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will support the Business Development Director (BDD) responsible for media to develop and maintain revenue against predetermined business targets.
You
- At least 5 years television research experience, ideally from a client-side background
- An ambitious and commercially aware individual
- An individual who is focused on client satisfaction, and a dedication to quality
- Comfortable with dealing with senior management within our client’s organisation
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Background in a market research or marketing role (SRE/RM level desirable
- Team player with very flexible approach
- Good relationship and management skills
- Confident with clear communications style and ability to present
- Numerate and analytical
- Good time management skills
Your role and responsibilities
- Working closely with current clients to drive total customer satisfaction and hence repeat business
- Liaise between the client and the customer service/analysis team to ensure that promises on all deliverables and timelines are being met
- To take the lead in coordinating all aspects of the brief-to-proposal submission process (for all current and prospective clients), to include
o Brainstorming of the brief
o Proposal writing
o Cost generation
o Dialogue with the client
o Managing the coordination and delivery of contributions to the proposal, e.g. from the Sales support team - Attendance of briefing, pitching and kick-off meetings
