Carpentry Tutor / Trainer
One of the UK's largest vocational training providers are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Carpentry Tutor/Trainer to join their dynamic and expanding team. 

Working with adult career changers, young people on government funded apprenticeships and commercially qualified trades people, the successful applicant must be able to engage and encourage successful learning.

The Role:
*  Providing tutoring services to a wide variety of individuals and groups
*  Create and implement tutorial programs that guide and assist students with class work, homework, problem solving, report writing and test preparation
*  Provide a flexible and responsive approach to training of students and learners so they can achieve the required skills and performance standards of the course
*  Carry our regular progress reviews to ensure success in all components of the course

The candidate:
Should be qualified to City & Guilds L2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery or a relevant trade
*  Experience in delivering construction training (ideally in the field of carpentry/joinery)
*  Relevant Assessor qualifications (A or V award) is desirable
*  Teaching qualification / Certificate in Education or equivalent would be a distinct advantage 
*  Previous experience within the Construction Trades industry (minimum of 5 years is desirable)
*  Ability to demonstrate working practices of the trade to students
