IT Support Analyst
ASA Recruitment are looking for an IT Support Analyst to support own business. This is a key role within the company where you would be required to assist the IT Manager in the provision of reliable and effective IT systems to ensure that they can support our business, which is heavily dependant on technology in its day-to-day operations.
Working as part of the IT team, the IT support Analyst responsibilities will include maintaining and developing IT systems under the direction of the IT manager to ensure the smooth running of the internal IT systems. This will include hands-on support of the company web applications, databases, and related technologies to the business. The provision of systems administration and technology support for internal networks will also be required along with the opportunity to assist in the completion of IT projects
If you have at least 3 years IT systems support and analysis experience, and strong problem solving skills along with a sound technical knowledge and the ability to develop good interpersonal relationships we would be keen to speak to you. In addition to these personal qualities and experience, applicants must possess the following technical knowledge:
- Microsoft Technologies and HP Compaq hardware
- Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Active Directory, Ms Exchange, XL, Ms SQL, IIS, ISA, TCP/IP, Antivirus, Web hosting technologies
- Design, develop and maintain robust and secure standard and managed "builds" of windows desktop computers
- Database technologies and development (MS SQL, Sybase SQL)
- Internet and Intranet technologies and development (HTML, CSS, ASP(VBscript), JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Fireworks or similar Image design tools )
It is desirable but not essential that you have experience of designing and supporting web and internet applications.
You should be willing to work flexible hours and available to travel. A clean drivers licence is essential.
