Foundation Stage Room Leader
Asquith Day Nurseries is the UK's leading provider of premium childcare and education for the under 5s.Each nursery is part of the Asquith family - a group of more than 100 day nurseries and crèches throughout the country.
We are seeking a Foundation Stage Room Leader for our Port Solent Nursery. We have designed our nursery environments to be both cosy and stimulating. They are structured in such a way as to promote children's independence, decision making and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
To lead the implementation of the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
To ensuring that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which support, all areas of learning in the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
To meet requirements of Ofsted registration with relation to delivery of Foundation Stage Curriculum and nursery education grant funding, special needs, child protection and health and safety and to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Must Have:
A childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3.
A minimum of 1 years post qualifying experience working with children from 3 years to 5 years.
A knowledge and understanding of research related to childcare and education.
