Our client is a housing and care provider for adults with learning disabilities and is looking for experience Support Workers to join their existing care team in the Saffron Walden area

The purpose of the role is to support and enable a user of services with a learning disability of physical disability living in either a registered care home or independent living scheme

Key Responsibilities
*  Supporting service users in all areas if daily life
*  Provide practical and emotional support as required
*  Join in with social activities with service users when necessary
*  Attend appoints with service user
*  You will be expected to work on a shift/rota basis this will include, mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts

Person Specification
*  Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities
*  Ability to work as a team or on your own
*  Good verbal and written communication skills
*  Relevant NVQ / equivalent qualification is desirable
