One of the UK's largest vocational training providers are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Painter / Decorator Trainer to join their dynamic and expanding team. 

The role is on a part time basis for 3 days per week and can be on a temp or perm contract to suit the individual.

Working with adult career changers, young people on government funded apprenticeships and commercially qualified trades people, the successful applicant must be able to engage and encourage successful learning.

The Role: 
*  Mainly teaching a 14 - 16 year old peer group who are undertaking specialised diplomas
* Providing tutoring services to a wide variety of individuals and groups
* Create and implement tutorial programs that guide and assist students with class work, homework, problem solving, report writing and test preparation
* Provide a flexible and responsive approach to training of students and learners so they can achieve the required skills and performance standards of the course
* Carry our regular progress reviews to ensure success in all components of the course

The Candidate:
* Should be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent 
*  Relevant Assessor/Verifier qualifications (A Or V award) is desirable
*  Teaching qualification / Certificate in Education or equivalent would be a distinct advantage
*  Previous experience within the painting / decorating industry (minimum of 5 years is desirable)
*  Must be CRB Checked.
