A new partnership has been announced between Vodafone and MySpace that will allow mobile users to access the social networking website on the move.
The exclusive deal is the first of its kind in Europe and will launch initially in the UK.
Under the terms of the tie-up MySpace members can access the mobile version of the site via preloaded Vodafone handsets, although the service will also be available for download from the mobile firm's internet service.
Users will be able to edit their profiles, add friends, post photos and blogs and other activities associated with the website.
Colin Digiaro, senior vice president of corporate development at MySpace, claimed that the partnership had combined the "world's number one lifestyle portal with the world's leading mobile operator".
"Millions of people use MySpace as their primary means of communicating with family and friends, so it's vital we make this available on the move," he said.
Vodafone's global chief marketing officer Frank Rovekamp added: "Teaming up with the world's leading online community means that people can take the MySpace experience anywhere and enjoy it anytime."
