A poll has found that the majority of UK employees would like to go back to university this autumn.
Of the respondents questioned for the global Monster survey, 85 per cent from the UK said they would like the chance to attend university again this year, onrec.com reported.
When asked to give reasons, 40 per cent said this was because they wanted to fulfil their ambitions, while 45 per cent said they felt they were not being taught anything new in their current jobs.
"One of the first things many jobseekers look for is evidence of solid training and a clear growth path. In-house and external training schemes can prove a good investment for companies" commented Julian Acquari, Managing Director, Monster UK and Ireland.
This week, the Confederation of British Industry said that graduates need to learn soft skills, such as communication and 'getting out of bed in the morning' before entering their first jobs.
