Two employees of travel company Thomas Cook are to face trial over the deaths of two British children in Corfu from carbon monoxide poisoning.
The Greek Juidicial Council announced that the workers and other individuals will face charges, including hotel management and maintenance contractors.
Christianne Shepherd, seven, and her brother, Robert, six, died from the odourless gas in October 2006 as they slept in their hotel apartment.
Their father, Neil Shepherd, 38, and his partner, Ruth Beatson, 27, were found unconscious but later recovered.
They had taken the children abroad for a half-term break.
A Thomas Cook spokeswoman said the company was "shocked and deeply concerned" two of its employees were to face charges.
"Thomas Cook continues to stand behind the two people concerned and believes that they will be fully vindicated," she added.
"The accident involving Christianne and Robert Shepherd in Corfu was a terrible tragedy and the company's deepest condolences will always be with the children's family."
