An expanding Northern Ireland-based software firm has announced its intention to create 100 new jobs in Belfast.
The customer relationship management software support, development and implementation positions are to be created by Lagan Technologies as a result of an increase in new business, the BBC reports.
It has recently opened a new office in Washington DC and also has bases in London and Chicago in addition to its Belfast headquarters.
"I am delighted that our continuing success has led to the creation of so many new job opportunities," commented Lagan Technologies chief executive officer Des Speed, adding that Northern Ireland is home to a workforce with a high level of skills.
The company has about 90 customers in the UK - all of which are councils - and serves 140 public sector organisations in total across the globe.
It currently employs about 220 staff and is privately-held.
