A new survey has revealed that the Queen is considered top of the pile for leadership skills by British managers.
The study by learndirect business showed that the stately monarch rose above the likes of Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton and Sir Alex Ferguson to come out on top.
However, the survey also indicated that just over 50 per cent of managers have had leadership training, with a third of office workers believing their bosses fall short when it comes to good management.
A further 90 per cent of respondents also said they agree with the notion that good leadership is important to any successful business.
"Positive leadership skills are critical to the success of a business. It's imperative that whatever the industry, leadership training is implemented as a way of ensuring owner managers are equipped to face the challenges of running a company," commented Kirstie Donnelly of learndirect.
A recent study by consulting firm Krauthammer International showed that managers are failing to meet the expectations of their workers 50 per cent of the time in areas such as listening to ideas and giving feedback.
