PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been named the number one company for graduates to work for in a new survey by Universum.
The annual UK Graduate Survey of 7,500 final and penultimate-year business students found that 15 per cent of those surveyed would chose PwC as their ideal employer.
"We are delighted that students continue to respond so positively to our firm, as attracting the best talent is key to our business success," said Charles Macleod, director of resourcing at the accounting and consulting firm.
PwC was closely followed by Goldman Sachs as the top employer, which was chosen by 14 per cent of respondents and the BBC, which was chosen by 13 per cent.
Also listed in the top ten were L'Oreal, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte and Google.
Meanwhile, the UK Graduate Careers Survey 2007 from High Fliers Research reveals that confidence among business graduates is increasing, with 57 per cent expecting to land a graduate job at the end of their degree.
