Pack of cards 'helps employers with workers needs'

Employers may find a tailored deck of cards useful when trying to become more in tune with workers' needs, it has been claimed.
A collection of specially-designed cards is one of the things included in the Engaging Employees resource pack, which aims to help employers better motivate their workforce.
Personnel Today reported that each of the 54 cards included has an idea or exercise on the front, while the reverse provides inspiration for new ways of thinking and acting when it comes to motivational skills.
Rob Fox, author of the pack, elaborated: "Theory too often leaves practitioners with the vital question of what they should actually do in order to better inspire higher engagement as the foundation for delivery of higher business performance."
The resource pack, he claimed, works towards solving this problem.
According to a YouGov poll undertaken recently, 11 million workers in the UK are dissatisfied in their roles due to an increased workload.
