Chelmsford is set to benefit from 350 new call centre jobs that will be created in the town, 118 Group has announced.
The Essex-based group, which operates businesses including 118trades and 118telecoms, has also said it will launch a new mobile phone product, Tasty Mobile, in November.
The jobs are to be based at a new state-of-the-art call centre in Chelmer Village, Chelmsford and will be in addition to existing roles in Chelmsford and Salt Lake City.
The company's CEO and founder Daniel Corby said: "Our growth plans for the coming year are ambitious and we have chosen to open an additional 8,000 square foot call centre in Chelmsford due to the great road and rail links.
"The new roles will take in a variety of roles in sales, customer services and administration/accounts."
Some of the new positions would be for the new Tasty Mobile brand, he also revealed.
