Online recruiting has seen a boost in growth over the month of November, the latest survey has revealed.
According to the Monster Employment Index, online recruitment increased by nine points reaching a total of 169 points. This is up for 41 points compared to the same month last year.
Regional director of Monster Worldwide Europe Andrea Bertone remarked that the rise was pleasing to see.
"It is highly encouraging that the UK online job market showed such strong signs of recovery in November, following two successive monthly dips," she said.
Leading the growth, job availability increased in the arts, entertainment, sports and leisure sector, which Ms Bertone claimed was partly due to the run-up to the Christmas season.
She added that most industries had seen increases in online recruitment over November.
The north of England and the south-west saw the biggest increases in online jobs growth.
This news follows a recent report by Centre for Cities, which found that Milton Keynes has seen the strongest employment growth of the past decade, the Press Association reported.
