Norfolk County Council 'improves HR' with new solution
01-04-2009
In order to make better management decisions with regards to its employees, Norfolk County Council has introduced a new human resources (HR) solution.
Created by HumanConcepts, the OrgPlus product allows firms to identify where organisational change may be needed while efficiently updating key workforce metrics, Onrec.com reports.
It can also help to improve workforce communication and decision-making as this information is now in the hands of the HR departments which manage employees.
Scott Jenkins, director of EMEA West at HumanConcepts, said: "Norfolk County Council has integrated OrgPlus charts into their core business process from service and budget planning to vacancy control and staff appraisals."
He claims this shows how the solution can add value across the breadth of an organisation.
In similar news, Browne Jacobson law firm last month introduced a new capital management system which will allow HR and payroll information to be stored, updated and processed more efficiently and accurately.
