There is a "huge pool" of talented mums that bosses are missing out on, according to a new survey.
Conducted by WorkingMums.co.uk, employers that don't offer flexible working hours could be doing so to their own detriment.
Results show that mothers put flexibility as their number one priority but 90 per cent of respondent mums said they struggled to find employment that suited their flexible needs.
Furthermore, 83 per cent of mums couldn't find work that made good use of their skills.
Managing director of lifestyle management company Ten UK Alex Cheatle has relied on the skills of flexible workers to help create his business.
"Mums are great at managing time as they are used to keeping unmovable deadlines and to doing many things at once," he comments.
Recently, it was found women look for job fulfilment over wage packet amounts when looking for employment.
The survey by Diva-Biz discovered that 53 per cent of women feel senior managers do not see the value of having female leaders.
