All migrant workers deserve a fair deal in employment, is the opinion of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
Speaking after the publication of the Trade Union Congress report into migrant workers, the REC's head of public policy Anne Fairweather has spoken out.
Many REC companies are already offering good quality employment to migrant workers, she remarked.
"The REC recommends that migrant workers work through a quality recruitment agency to ensure that they receive their rights, wherever they work," she added.
According to Ms Fairweather, migrant workers are much needed to fill in the skills gap in the recruitment industry and should be "welcomed in the UK as valuable workers".
Job fairs in Poland and Slovakia have already received information leaflets printed by the REC in Polish and Slovakian, to educate them in the basic working rights in the UK.
The REC is a trade body that supports and represents the recruitment industry.
