Dutch telecoms provider KPN has announced it has agreed to outsource its human resources (HR) work.
LogicaCMG will now be responsible for the firm's HR and shared services centre based in the Hague.
The deal is though to have been worth 40 million (£29.8 million) and is a seven-year contract with opportunities to work together more often in the future a possibility following the deal.
HR director at KPN Hein Knaapen told Personnel Today why KPN chose to come to an agreement with LogicCMG.
"We chose LogicaCMG as our partner because KPN already had an established and very well-working relationship with the company regarding the management of HR systems and payroll processing," she said.
LogicCMG will now be in charge of the payroll of 17,000 employees under the deal.
KPN was recently involved in the sale of its activities in Spain and Portugal to Tecnocom.
