KPMG has been awarded for making Best Corporate Use of Online Recruitment in the third Onrec.com personnel and marketing awards in London.
The Big Four auditing firm picked up the prize as a result of its novel recruiting policy utilising StepStone technology. Successful candidates are extended job offers online, allowing them to review the precise details of the position before accepting and choosing a start date.
Self-scheduling interviews are another innovation KPMG extends to its prospective employees and the company now manages its entire hiring process via its online job advertising.
"At KPMG we strive to be the employer of choice for our people and the best career for new recruits," commented Caroline Purdie, human resources project manager at the accountancy firm.
"StepStone allows us to deliver a high quality, professional service and provide our candidates with a smooth and efficient joining experience. We are honoured to receive this recognition," she continued.
Rival auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers also won an award at the Piccadilly ceremony for its corporate recruitment.
