Employee Benefit News claims that those companies which are hiring are now finding that the job-applicant pool is growing due to more redundancies and job losses.
Therefore they have a wider wealth of talent from which to find the perfect candidate to fill their vacancies.
Furthermore, the results of a recent survey by Dice Holdings showed that seven out of 10 employers are reporting an increase in candidates.
Scot Melland, chief executive officer of the company, said that "there are companies that are indeed hiring and they [need to] be able to acquire talented professionals at advantageous salary levels".
Earlier this week, PC World reported that according to Mittel, younger jobseekers are attracted by firms which make good use of technology for recruitment.
