Jamie Oliver has revealed that he has plans to save the thousands of employees who have been made redundant following the closure of Woolworths.
In an interview with the Radio Times, the TV chef said he wanted to find ways to help some of the 27,000 workers who are now without jobs.
He has been cautious when it comes to revealing what any of his ideas might lead to, although he did say that he is a believer in "social business" and that there are different ways to teach cooking.
"I'm looking at 27,000 Woolworths staff getting made redundant and I'm thinking, right, how can I come up with something that might be able to use some of those incredible people?" Jamie stated.
It was recently announced that frozen food store Iceland is to buy 51 former Woolworths stores, creating 2,500 new jobs.
