An IT company has announced it has opened up a number of positions for jobseekers.
Gloucester-based MessageLabs has advertised its need for more workers following employee losses at Travelscope, the Citizen reports.
Travelscope went into administration before Christmas, leaving many of its 40,000 customers in the lurch about planned getaways over the festive season.
Around 200 members of staff lost their jobs following the announcement.
Recruitment consultant Greg Berlandi commented that there is a wide range of positions available at MessageLabs.
"We have a real mix of jobs on offer including a lot of technical positions, some sales roles and a job for a credit controller," he said to the news source.
He added that the company had felt compelled to broadcast the job vacancies at the site following the losses at Travelscope, which was located close to MessageLabs on Gloucester Business Park.
The IT security company is urging anyone interested in the positions to get in touch.
