Management professionals from around the world are flocking to London, it has been claimed.
According to one expert, London is now the global finance capital with a wealth of international professionals moving in on the top jobs in the city, onrec.com reports.
The managing Director of specialist finance recruiter Nigel Lynn, Steve Carter, comment on the findings from the World Bank.
"London has now overtaken New York as the number one global finance centre, attracting many highly skilled workers to the UK," he remarks.
He adds that the diversity of the financial workforce is beneficial to the UK economy.
This news follows a report from the Office for National Statistics, which found record numbers of Brits are leaving the country.
Mr Carter asserts that the world is benefiting from UK professionals as they search for sunnier climes.
Last week, the Ministry of Defence announced that it would be offering its employees the chance to gain recognised management qualifications in association with the Chartered Management Institute.
