Insurance sector 'increases recruitment'
The insurance sector looks to be one of the best places to look for jobs as it has seen a rise in the number of people it has recruited over the past two months, it has been discovered.

According to Hays Senior Finance, there has been a rise in the demand for jobs in insurance, despite the credit crunch and many industries having to make staff cuts.

Roland Seddon, regional director of Hays, said: "Over the last two months we have seen a sharp increase in demand for senior level candidates in the insurance sector."

He also added that job seekers with experience should be able to get interviews "very swiftly", either by sending in their CV or maybe using an online recruitment site.

Unfortunately the jobs market is not looking as healthy for other sectors and unemployment in the UK has risen by 0.5 per cent since the last quarter of the year.
