Despite the economic downturn one company has proved that it is not all doom and gloom when it comes to recruitment.
Infoserve has overcome previous hiring problems to take on a higher number of quality sales staff which the firm says has contributed to increased revenue, according to the Northern Echo.
The company's chief executive Steve Barnes believes that expanding online was a good move for Infoserve as this is now the first port of call for people requiring information.
Furthermore, the company may have benefited from other businesses having to let go of some of their workforce.
He said: "Sales recruitment numbers are up and productivity per person is up. Hopefully, we are not that far away from going through the curve to pre-tax profitability."
In the opinion of the IT Job Board, internet recruitment can be one of the most costs effective ways of hiring workers for firms.
