An environmental magazine has announced that it will launch an online recruitment service in a bid to attract a better quality of candidate.
Ecologist magazine aims to use the service to increase the quality of candidates applying for environment roles and will work alongside recruitment firm Brainhunter.
Managing director at Brainhunter Colin Minto commented that jobseekers also want "relevant and current opportunities" and the assurance that their details are dealt with safely, reported recruiter.
"Quality recruiters and employers [...] want premium advertising positioning and do not want their job opportunities buried within a myriad of others of differing quality," Mr Minto continued.
He also said that the service will help connect the magazine with employees "committed to environmental and ethical issues".
Birkbeck College, a department of London University, recently claimed to have found success in streamlining and cutting costs through adopting an online service alongside company StepStone.
