Construction jobs boost in Warwickshire
As part of its plans to expand its business, Warwickshire-based firm Ian Neale Construction Group has announced that it is to create a number of new jobs in the near future.

The firm recently increased its workforce by taking on ten new members of staff and its managing director Ian Neale believes that future investment in its workforce is crucial, reports the Coventry Telegraph.

"We need to recruit more people so we can keep pace with new orders," Mr Neale remarked.

However, within the construction industry there continues to be a significant skills shortage, he added.

In related news, the Construction Products Association recently predicted that the construction sector would grow by 3.1 per cent over the course of 2007, Contract Journal reports.

Although this level of growth is expected to slow next year, the firm stated that the industry was likely to see a similar level of growth in 2009.
