Misleading job ads cost agencies thousands. Recruitment companies working in marketing need to gain a better understanding of the sector�s job functions or risk wasting thousands of pounds on advertising.
That is according to marketing recruitment agency Marketing Professionals UK, which believes that getting the job title or job spec wrong will just bring in poor or unsuitable candidates.
Marketing Professionals UK director Jonny Cainer said that the marketing sector, with its ever-changing fads, was renowned for its variety of job titles where similar roles could be called anything from marketing co-ordinator to affinity marketing manager.
