The administrative and secretarial sector is ahead of other markets, meaning that recruitment in these areas will be one of the first to pick up, it has been claimed.
Speaking to Recruiter, David Morel, managing director at Tiger Recruitment, said that the industry is advanced by around three months.
Because of this, it was one of the first to see the effects of the economic downturn when it first hit the UK and recruitment was cut before the same happened in other sectors, he claims.
However, Mr Morel expects there to be good news when the recession is over.
He said: "When companies start to get busier, they will either hire temporary support or an administrator/PA to assist them."
According to iProfile.org, online recruitment websites are a good way for jobseekers to gauge what kind of employment is currently available.
