Proving you're different
Now that you're thinking about it, your whole CV is about proof isn't it? A backup for the claims you make about yourself, the living truth about why you should be hired. All the more reason why you should never lie.
Look at your achievements carefully and line them up alongside the qualities you want to emphasise. For example, to show "determination", you might mention a situation in which you solved a problem in the face of severe difficulties.
Quite possibly you would not have included this incident in your CV otherwise - glossing over it in favour of just another (yawn) responsibility or task success. But "determination" is a prized quality to any employer, not an asset you can afford to downplay.
Now here's the trick. Don't actually use the word "determination" - just make sure it's as obvious as all hell. In terse business language, spell out how this quality enabled you to win the day.
Do the same with every other entry on your CV, making sure each one contributes to your qualities of determined, perceptive, intelligent, proud. Write your profile as a demonstration of all of them, but don't use any of these words. They must be the CONCLUSION that your prospective employer DECIDES about you - that you are all of these things.
And different. Special enough to be worth hiring.
